I met Tom when I was a very young and newly married woman when he was a good friend of my in-laws. Where Tom was was also lots of fun. This was when universities were changing from one sex institutions to coed. He and I had rousing "arguments" over this subject, and he defended his beloved Dartmouth and I took the feminist view. We both enjoyed these times and when I graduated from nursing school he gifted me a Dartmouth sweatshirt! RIP Tom. Keep them laughing up there as you did me!

Dear Karen, Pam, Wendy, and Family,
My Pal of Half a Century + is at rest. Tom was the “real deal,” never mincing words. The many hunting and fishing exploits, retold with great levity around late night bonfires will provide lasting memories for years to come.
My sincere condolences to entire family. We will all miss him, while feeling very privileged to have shared precious time with “Holdy.”
Love to all . . .
