Randy Lee Plank, age 63, of Larsen, WI passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, March 17, 2022.

Randy was born September 27, 1958, in Neenah, WI to his parents Gene and Lorraine Plank. He grew up in Neenah and attended Neenah High School. After high school, he moved to Maine and learned his trade from his grandfather, Raymond Snell and achieved his welding certification. Randy returned to Wisconsin and worked for Leach Co., AZCO and most recently Youngwirth Metal Fabricators. He was a first-class welder and a hardworking good man.

Randy and Connie were married in Neenah, WI on November 7, 1987, he loved his family with all his heart and was so very proud of his son Jared.

He enjoyed hunting and fishing. Duck hunting was his passion, and he knew Lake Poygan and the Wolf River like the back of his hand. Randy also enjoyed deer hunting at the land in Wittenberg and spent many deer seasons sharing comradery and laughter with family and friends there. There wasn’t a dog anywhere that didn’t like his big kind hands, and his last efforts were to help his own dog, Shiloh. Stubborn by nature but so very kind at heart, Randy’s dark brown eyes would shine with laughter and were always a tell when sharing a story.

Randy is survived by his wife of 34 years, Constance (Gatzke) Plank; son, Jared Plank; his siblings, Laurie Bennett, Gene Plank Jr. and Ron (Nancy) Plank; sisters-in-law, Nancy (Carl) Loff, Deborah (Michael) Krech; brother-in-law, Thomas Gatzke; his special friend and uncle, George (Jeanne) Snell; and his lifetime friend, Rick (Chris) Wilson; as well as his extended family. We will all miss him more than words can say.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Gene and Lorraine Plank; brother-in law, Bradley Bennett; and sister-in-law, Linda Gatzke.

We would like to thank the first responders, the Winnebago County Officers and dispatch as well as the emergency room staff at ThedaCare Regional Medical Center-Neenah for their diligent efforts. Your extreme effort and kindness were so very much appreciated.

A visitation for family and friends will be on Saturday, April 2, 2022, from 11:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m. at Mueller Funeral Home 904 E. Main St. Winneconne. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, April 2 at 2:00 p.m. at the funeral home with Pastor Paul Meier officiating. Burial will follow in the Lakeview Cemetery, town of Wolf River.

If you wish, please submit online condolences to muellerfh.net.
