Where Caring Is A Family Tradition
James “Jim” W. Baldry, age 79, passed away peacefully at home on Monday, March 21, 2022, with his wife by his side. He was born to the late Wesley and Betty (Tritt) Baldry on February 23, 1943. In 1961, Jim graduated for Omro High School and immediately entered the workforce. He worked at Pluswood in Oshkosh for 47 ½ years before retiring. In 1974, Jim married Sarah “Sally” Shemanski. They lived in Omro where they raised breeds of pheasants, quail, partridge and mixed breeds of chickens. Jim and Sally enjoyed attending many bird swaps in the area. Jim’s favorite pastime was fishing until his health began to fail. He then discovered Diamond Dots art projects where he created many beautiful pictures.
Jim is survived by his wife, Sally; two brothers-in-law, John (Joanie) Shemanski and Ralph Shemanski; two sisters-in-law, Mary (Tom) Olkiewicz and Susan Shemanski; numerous cousins, other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Betty and Wes; three brothers-in-law, Steve, Stanley and Mark Shemanski; and a nephew, Matthew Olkiewicz.
Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, March 29, 2022, at 11:00 a.m. at Mueller Funeral Home 904 E. Main St. Winneconne. Deacon Paul Vidmar will officiate. Burial will be in Oakhill Cemetery, Omro. Visitation will be held on Tuesday at the funeral home from 9:00 to 11:00 a.m.
