Bonnie Ruth Peterson, age 73, of Winchester, died Saturday, October 15, 2016. She was born July 19, 1943, in Neenah to the late Joseph and Elsie (Mathison) Peterson. Bonnie was a 1961 graduate of Winneconne High School. For 42 years she was employed at Banta Publishing Corp. until her retirement in 2005. Bonnie was a member of Grace Lutheran Church, Winchester and sang in the church choir. She was a volunteer at Ruth's Pantry in Winchester and enjoyed woodworking.
Bonnie is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Eric and Judy Peterson, of Hortonville; a sister, Karen Angell, of Winneconne; three sisters-in-law, Vera Henschel, of Neenah; Kay Peterson, of Winneconne; Evie Peterson, of Neenah; grandchildren, Stephanie, Melanie, Jenna, and Kyle; great-grandson, Tanner; a special cousin, Ruthie (LaCount) Carriveau; and many nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
Along with her parents, Bonnie was also preceded in death by three brothers, one sister, and two brothers-in-law, Marlyn Henschel, Gene Peterson, David Peterson, Beverly and Orrin Prindle, and Elroy Angell.
A visitation for family and friends will be on Monday, October 24, 2016, from 9:00 to 11:00 a.m. at Grace Lutheran Church of Winchester, 8396 Steeple Hill Dr. Larsen, Wisconsin. A funeral service will be held on Monday at the church at 11:00 a.m. with Pastor Ted Johanson officiating. Cremation will follow and inurnment will be in the Grace Lutheran Cemetery, Winchester.
In lieu of flowers, memorials in Bonnie's name may be made to the Save Our Steeple (S.O.S.) Fund for Grace Lutheran Church.
