Where Caring Is A Family Tradition
On Tuesday July 18, 2017, Mr. Jimmie Lee Kinder, a four year resident of Winneconne, where he lived with his wife of 35 years, Mrs. Cynthia Ann (Dishmon) Kinder, was called home.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by his only son, Mark Philip Kinder, from a previous marriage; his mother, Blanch (McGhee) Kinder; two sisters, Tonie (Paul) Baugus, Sharon Kinder, all of Nevada; one brother, David (Della) Kinder, of Oklahoma; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Mike (Julie) Dishmon, Sherry (Mark) Livingstone, both of Winneconne, Betsy (Joe) Fettig, Oregon; two uncles, one aunt, several cousins, sixteen nieces and nephews, eighteen great-nieces and great-nephews; and two great-great-nephews.
Preceding Jimmie in death were his father, Lindell Kinder; sister, Linda McGhee; nephew, Colton Fettig; mother-in-law and father-in-law, Pat and Don Longaberger; and numerous other family members.
Jimmie was born in Bragg City, Missouri, and at age eleven, his family moved to Casa
Grande, Arizona. Facing the challenges of being legally blind, and unable to drive, Mr. Kinder taught himself to play guitar as a teen. Later, using public transit, and his three-wheel bike, he secured a job with the then "Pepsi Company" and bought a home in Casa Grande. He had also lived in Arkansas and Nevada.
Jimmie's favorite memories include: when he found out he was going to be a father; when he met Cindy Dishmon, whom he married at Chapel of the Bells, Las Vegas, Nevada, the 7th day of November, 1981; and his grandma Sylvia (Maddox) Kinder, guiding him with the following words, "Jimmie, if you take one step toward Jesus, He will take two towards you."
Jimmie is loved and will be greatly missed!
