Harold E. Brasch, age 86, of Oshkosh died Sunday, September 17, 2017, at home. He was born May 28, 1931, in Milwaukee to the late Harold H. and Hazel (Corwin) Brasch. Harold served his country in the U.S. Army from January 1952 until January 1954. On March 21, 1969, he married Lillian M. Seefeld in Fond du Lac. For over 60 years Harold was a member of the Carpenter's Union. For many years he worked as a carpenter for Appleton Lathing Corp. until his retirement. He enjoyed skiing, playing softball, fishing, and traveling. Harold was a member of St. Paul's Ev. Lutheran Church, Winneconne.
Harold is survived by his wife, Lillian Brasch, of Oshkosh; three children, Debra (Greg) Kender, of Muskego; Julie (Steve) Buss, of Dallas, Texas; Steven (Annette) Brasch, of Winneconne; grandchildren, Paul (Erika) Kender, Gary Kender, Ryan Kender, all of Milwaukee; Alex Brasch (Margaret Raimann), of Portland, Oregon; Kyle Brasch, of Oshkosh; two great-granddaughters, Katarina and Olivia Kender; a brother, Dan (Joni) Brasch, of Scottsdale, Arizona; and nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
Along with his parents, Harold was also preceded in death by a daughter, Juanita Deluca; and a sister and brother-in-law, Pauline and Joe Judkins.
A visitation for family and friends will be on Friday, September 22, 2017, from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. at St. Paul's Ev. Lutheran Church 8 S. Fourth St. Winneconne. A funeral service will be held on Friday at 11:00 a.m. at the church with Pastor Mark Albrecht officiating. Entombment will be in Greenlawn Memorial Park, Neenah.
Memorials in Harold's name may be made to the Larsen/Winchester Lions Club or St. Paul's Ev. Lutheran Church.
