Where Caring Is A Family Tradition
James Franklin Murray, age 89, of Oshkosh, entered the gates of heaven on Monday, July 4, 2022, after a lengthy illness.
James was born on March 15, 1933, the son of James and Esther Murray. On October 4, 1958, he married Betty Leone.
Jim worked for many years at Pinkerton National Detective Agency, and retired as a salesman. He loved to bowl, golf, and woodwork in his retirement years.
Survivors include two daughters, Jodie (Dave) Kadonsky, of Oshkosh; Julie Murray (Bill Holzbach, significant other), of North Fond du Lac; one granddaughter, Grace Kadonsky, of Oshkosh; and other relatives and friends.
Jim was preceded in death by his parents, sister, and wife of 61 years, Betty.
A private memorial service will be held. Burial will be in Ellenwood Cemetery. Mueller Funeral Home-Winneconne is assisting the family.
In lieu of flowers, a memorial will be established.
James’ family would like to thank the staff at Bethel Home, Oshkosh (Alice, Kelly, Sue Hipple) for all of their care and compassion during his stay.
“As soon as you’re born, you start dying, so you might as well have a good time.” John M. McCrea
