A burial and celebration of the life of Judi (Grunwald) (Coughlin) Wynhoff will be held at the Winneconne Cemetery on Monday, July 25, 2022, at 10:00 a.m. All are welcome.

She was a very loved Reverend’s Daughter (and all that entails), an animal lover, a music lover, a saxophone and piano playing diva, the head-cheerleader, a prom queen (by all senses of the words), and the student council president. She was a loyal and loving single mom raising 4 unique, strong sons. An incredibly proud Mom, Grand Judi and Great-Grand Judi. She was opinionated, never afraid to share her views – and in retrospect she was usually right. All around she was fabulous.

Judi worked so hard all her life – “if there’s time to lean – there’s time to clean”. While being a single mom she waitressed at first, then became a manager, a restaurant owner, and eventually Food and Beverage Director at Sheraton Hotels; Food and Beverage Director of the Dutch Harbor Alaska Airport; and Food and Beverage Director at the Indianapolis Hoosier Dome where she would coordinate an elegant Governor’s Dinner for 5000 the night after a ‘Big Truck Mud Fest’ took place in the same space - all while riding her golf cart corralling a staff of 500+ with joy. She. Was. A Powerhouse! (in a diminutive frame). 

Through her example, her family learned the importance of hard work, responsibility, loving without prejudice, and always being there for those in need.   

Judi passed away in her home in Palm Springs, California on October 5, 2020, with her son Patrick and son-in-law Daniel by her side. She is survived by her four sons: Marty, Ed, John and Patrick; three daughters-in-law; one son-in-law, three granddaughters; one grandson; and four great-granddaughters. She is incredibly missed by her entire family who find peace knowing she is in heaven with her parents Myrtle and Harold Grunwald and some of her greatest loves- her beloved dogs.
