Linda L. Kallas, age 74, died Saturday August 20, 2022, surrounded by her family, following a two-year battle with cancer. She was born April 16, 1948, to Robert and Fern (Minckler) Tritt. Linda was a 1966 graduate of Omro High School where she met the love of her life, David Kallas, and they were married on August 31, 1968. Reunited again, Linda and Dave will celebrate their 54th anniversary together. Linda's children were her greatest pride, and she always put them first. She will be remembered as a kind and gentle soul, who was very generous. She was the peace maker of the family. Linda enjoyed bird watching, listening to the Beatles, history, her flower gardens, visiting museums and watching the news. She talked often about the trips she was able to take with her mother and sisters and the special memories they made. Her favorite season was spring when everything was new and growing. Linda will also be remembered as someone who wasn't afraid to start a good political debate.

Linda is survived by her children, Shane (Tanya) Kallas, Omro; Matthew Kallas, Omro; April (Chris) Coe, Oshkosh; and Kimberly Kallas (fiancé, Chris Martin), Omro; grandchildren, Hannah-Kylee Kallas, David-Maxwell Kallas, Corinne Kallas, Tyler Kallas, Adeline Coe, Harrison Coe, Lily Martin, RayAnn Martin, Toby Martin and Evan Martin; great-grandson, Jasper Wendorf; her mother, Fern Tritt; two sisters, Vicki Tritt (special friend, Dennis); Cindy Olesen; two sisters-in-law, Judy (Dennis) Fleck and Darlene Malnory; and two brothers-in-law, Dennis Kallas and Darryl "Duke" (Mary) Kallas.

She was preceded in death by her husband, David; and her father, Robert and her mother and father-in-law, Vernon and Doris Kallas.

A visitation will be held on Saturday, August 27, 2022, at Mueller Funeral Home, 904 E. Main St., Winneconne from 1:00 to 3:00 p.m. Following the visitation, Linda and David will be laid to rest together at the Oak Hill Cemetery-Poygan. Family and friends are welcome to attend.

The family is grateful for the Vince Lombardi Cancer Clinic of Oshkosh and Aurora Hospice for the exceptional care Linda received.

If you wish, please submit online condolences to muellerfh.net.
