Mary A. Jensen, age 85, of Neenah, was called home to her Savior on Friday, August 19, 2022, following a brief illness.

She was born on January 25, 1937, in Neenah, the daughter of the late Harold and Esther (Zill) Dordel. In 1955, Mary graduated from Neenah High School. On November 17, 1956, Mary married William Jensen at Trinity Lutheran Church where she continued to be a very faithful member.  She loved gardening, especially pruning, just being outdoors and staying busy with everything including chores around the house. Together they never missed any event of their children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren and offered their help for anything going on in any of their lives. She enjoyed going for rides, playing Rummy, working on word search puzzles, and getting together with her Class of ‘55 friends for lunch monthly. She also enjoyed listening to her Polka Music on Saturday and Sunday mornings. Mary was fondly known as the Pumpkin Lady for their hobby every fall.

Mary’s greatest joy came in spending time with her family, especially her 11 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren. She looked forward to having visitors and always had some sort of treat or snack to share no matter the time of day.

Mary is survived by her husband of 65 years, Bill; together raising three sons, Jim, Joe, and Jerry. Jim (Sue) Oshkosh, their children, Will (Kirsten) Jensen children Adrielle and Liam; Jamie (Zack) Stephens, Jordan (Steph) Jensen; Joe (Deb), Hortonville, their children, Brittany (Tyler), children, Beaudee, Brynlee, Braedee and Berklee Ernst; Brad (Renee) Jensen, their son, Brock; Morgann Jensen and Emilee Jensen.  Jerry (Kim), Oshkosh; their children Rhienna Gabriel, Bethany (Garett) Neff, their sons, Cole and Caleb; Kaurista Jensen (friend, Sebastian). Mary is also survived by her brother, Sam Dordel; sisters-in-law, Marilyn and Shirley Dordel, Betty, Georgia, and Janice Jensen, a brother-in-law, Daryl (Gwen) Jensen; and many other godchildren, nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her granddaughter, MyKayla Jensen, her sister, Alice Dordel; two brothers, Harold and David Dordel; her in-laws, Adelbert and Grace Jensen; a sister-in-law, Lani Dordel also three brothers-in-law, Junior, Tom and Donald Jensen.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, August 27, 2022, at 11:00 a.m. at Trinity Lutheran Church, 407 Oak St. Neenah. Pastor Douglas Engelbrecht will officiate. Burial will be in Oak Hill Cemetery, Neenah. Visitation will be held at the church on Saturday from 9:30 a.m. until the time of service. Mueller Funeral Home-Winneconne is assisting the family.

A memorial fund has been established for Trinity Lutheran Church and Fox Valley Lutheran High School.

Philippians 1:21-23 For to me, to live is Christ and to die is gain… I desire to depart and be with Christ, which is better by far.

Bill & Family- Our deepest sympathy at the loss of Mary Ann, but what joy and comfort to know that she is now enjoying the full reward of her salvation. May this hope allow you to reflect on your memories with smiles instead of tears. It has been a joy to call her family and to be able to worship our Savior together.
