In the presence of family I passed away at home on November 7, 2017. I was born in the town of Winneconne on October 25, 1924, to Francis and Marie (Lee) O'Reilly.
I graduated from Omro High School. Following graduation, I worked for about two years in Oshkosh at the Axle and then about two years at IBM in Milwaukee. Then I married James Egan and had eleven children where we farmed in the town of Omro. Following Jim's death in 1960, I went back to work at the Axle (Rockwell) until I retired at age 65. In 1965 I married Wayne Locke and was widowed again in 1986.
Survivors include my children: Gary (Kathy) Egan, Daniel (Ann) Egan, Eileen (Dave, deceased) Brandenburg, Francis (Cindy) Egan, Kathryn (Chuck) Axelsen, Joan (Mike) Mueller, Amy (Randy) Foster, Ed Egan, Beth (Ed) Wilke, Patricia (Bruce, deceased) Fowler, and Melissa (Neal) Seagren. I also am survived by twenty-two grandchildren and fourteen great-grandchildren, stepchildren, step-grandchildren; sister, Margaret (Paul) Graf; sister-in-law, Sister Sylvia Egan; brother-in-law, Joey Binder; and numerous nieces and nephews.
I was preceded in death by my husbands, James and Wayne; sons-in-law, Dave Brandenburg and Bruce Fowler; brother and his wife, James and Delores O'Reilly; brothers-in-law and sisters-in law, Bob and Liz Egan, Kathryn Binder, and Mary Jane and Harold Fox.
Friends and relatives are invited to participate in all funeral functions which will be at St. Vincent Catholic Church 1225 Oregon St. Oshkosh on Monday, November 13, 2017. A rosary will be prayed at 8:45 a.m. Visitation will follow from 9:00 to 11:00 a.m. The funeral Mass will be celebrated by Father Matt Simonar at 11:00 a.m. Lunch will be at noon. Private family burial services at the Omro Cemetery will be held following the lunch. Mueller Funeral Home in Winneconne is assisting the family.
In lieu of flowers I request that memorials be given toward fiscally responsible charities of the giver's choice.
If you wish please submit online condolences to muellerfuneralhomeinc.com.
The family would like to thank Father Matt Simonar, Affinity Hospice staff, and Home Instead staff for all their caring support and our extended family and friends for the supportive thoughts and prayers during Mary's end of life.

Mary Locke was an amazing person. My kids and I were blessed to have lived above her for about 4 years. She was so friendly and kind to us. She baked often and we were happy to receive many platefuls of delicious treats! Even after I remarried and moved out of the apartment, she still called me every so often to stop over, share all of the current news about myself and Alicia and Preston (plus she passed along many magazines)! I will never forget how sweet she was and how she blessed our lives with her smile! I am so sad to have her gone. Our sympathy to her whole family! Love, Jodi and Bill Leu (Alicia and Preston Rye)

Mary was such an amazing person. Every year the first Christmas card we received was the day after Thanksgiving. I always loved visiting her gardens for years. Our daughter & I had so many of her flowers in our gardens. Our love & sympathy to your family.

Our deepest sympathy to the family. Mary was a great lady. Her memory lives on with all the great perennial flowers she gave me to plant and the wonderful flowers she gave for our daughters wedding
