Jeannette “Jean” Ruth Timm passed away, Thursday, October 20, 2022, at the age of 80. Jean was born May 20, 1942, to Gordon and Joyce Morrison and she grew up on a farm on Wayside Drive, Omro, Wisconsin that is today owned by Paul Timm, her son.

Pets were the love of her life, especially her Morgan horse Midnight Midge. Jean was a charter member of the Flying Mane Horse Club in Waukau, Wisconsin.

Jean graduated from Omro High School in 1960, and from UW-Oshkosh in 1968 with a Medical Technology degree. She had interned at Mercy Medical Center and worked there for 10 years. The last 5 years of her career at Aurora Medical Center, Jean worked at Ceape St. Clinic and UW-Oshkosh Student Health Center.

In 1963 Jean married Frederick “Fred” Timm and they lived on Skeleton Bridge Road the rest of their 44 years of marriage. Flower gardens and sewing kept her busy while raising Paul and Tracy. Fred and Jean snow birded to Arizona for many years during winter. Several years after Fred’s passing Jean married Robert “Roy” Humphreys in 2010 and they continued to live in Arizona winters and Wisconsin in summer. They traveled to Wales to visit Roy’s relatives there as he grew up in Holy Head Wales. After his passing, Jean later married William “Bill” Richardson who passed away 2017.

Since 1978 she was a member of St. Andrew’s Lutheran Church in Oshkosh, serving on the church council and was the first woman president. Jean loved music and was a member of the church choir for many years.

After 51 years on Skeleton Bridge Rd., Jean moved to Sawyer Creek Condos in Oshkosh. Her cats Scooter and Zoe were entertaining companions.

Jean was an associate member of San Pedro Valley Methodist Church in Benson, AZ. She helped with the Thanksgiving dinners that provided meals to home bound people. At San Pedro Resort Community, Jean helped run the cooking club “Taste of San Pedro” for many years.

Thank you Gail. Some of the best memories were going to work with Mom and being together with others in the lab. I loved learning about her passion of the medical world. Please stay in touch. Warmest regards, Tracy

Dear Tracy and other family members, I am so sorry to hear of the passing of Jean. I had a special bond with her since we were both med techs and both worked at the student health center at UW-O. Please keep all the wonderful memories of her in your hearts and may they bring you comfort at this most difficult time. We are leaving for the Twin Cities tomorrow morning so will miss her funeral but please know that she was highly thought of and you all are in our prayers.
