And the Lord will turn his face toward you and give you peace… Helen Miller, of Neenah, found peace on Tuesday, November 15, 2022, as she transitioned from this life to the next at Oakridge Gardens in Menasha at the age of 83. She was born February 9, 1939, in White Lake. Helen married George Miller on December 29, 1956, at St. James Catholic Church in White Lake.

She loved watching nature, especially the bears that came right up on the porch at their home in White Lake, the deer and the birds. She could name most birds either by seeing them or just from their call. Helen also loved playing cards and playing games of any kind. And she loved watching the Brewers and the Packers and was able to enjoy watching their most recent win last Sunday! But mostly, she loved her family!

Helen is survived by her daughters, Nancy (Charles) Olson, Patti (Rob) Nelson, Karen (Zack) Campen, and Dee (Scott) Ernst; her son, Andy (Susie); and her daughter-in-law, Andrea. She is further survived by 10 grandchildren, Heather (James), Trina (Jen), Sara (Rob), Jonathon (Lindsay), Shannon, Samantha (Nick), Adam, Neal, Alyssa (Paul), and Dawson; 13 great-grandchildren, Aria, Alora, Garrett, Melia, Gabe, Finley, Zeke, Noah, Trigger, Mikayla, Madelyn, Landon and Libby; her sisters, Mary (Bob) Stone, of Texas; and Sharon (John) Krablean, of Colorado; several sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, and many nieces, nephews and friends.

Helen was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, George; her son, Shawn; a grandson, Ben; as well as 6 brothers and 1 sister.

A visitation for family and friends will be on Saturday, November 19, 2022, from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. at Grace Lutheran Church of Winchester 8396 Steeple Hill Dr. Larsen. A funeral service will be held on Saturday at 4:00 p.m. at the church with Pastor Julie Peterson officiating.

The family would like to thank Lakeland Care, the ThedaCare Cancer team and Hospice team, the staff at Oakridge Gardens, Katie Peterson, and especially her friends and caretakers who became her family at Matthews Senior Center for the friendship, love and care they provided these past several years. You were all so special to her and we are so grateful to you all!

Mueller Funeral Home-Winneconne is assisting the family. If you wish please submit online condolences to muellerfh.net.
