Judith S. Knurr, age 84, of Omro, died Tuesday, November 22, 2022, at Ascension Mercy Hospital in Oshkosh. She was born August 20, 1938, in Waukesha. Judy earned a Bachelor of Science degree with high honors from UW-Oshkosh and a Master’s of Social Work from the UW-Milwaukee. Judy married her grade school sweetheart, Allen Knurr, and they were blessed with 65 years of marriage. She served many years as a campfire girl’s leader, catechism teacher, social worker, hospice worker, and mother to five children. Judy was an excellent cross stitcher, loved reading, playing piano, puzzles, and taking fall color trips to northern Wisconsin. She was a member of St. Paul’s Lutheran Church in Winneconne.
Judy is survived by her husband, Allen; sons, Rick, of Minnesota; Tim (Judy), of Mequon; Kurt (Kathy), of Texas; Chris, of Green Bay; daughter, Kim (Bob), of South Dakota; 19 grandchildren; and other relatives and friends.
Along with her parents, Judy was also preceded in death by a granddaughter, Tarah; a sister, and a brother.
A visitation for family and friends will be on Friday, November 25, 2022, from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. at Mueller Funeral Home 904 E. Main St. Winneconne. Visitation will continue on Saturday, November 26 from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church 8 S. 4th St. Winneconne. A funeral service will be held on Saturday at 11:00 a.m. at the church with Pastor Mark Albrecht officiating.
In lieu of flowers, a memorial will be established.
Judy’s family offers a special thanks to her caring friend, Donna Ellis, and the Ascension Mercy staff for outstanding care in her last days.

So sorry for your loss my thoughts and prayers with you and your family. I remember growing up on Scott Street we are all pretty much neighbors to smiggs on the corner aldershinsky across the street you guys across the street from Hamilton it was a good time growing up. I remember your father being a teacher and a few times I did come over your mother was such a kind and wonderful lady. So sorry for your loss
