Dad, you will be missed dearly! I'm sure you were welcomed with open arms by many! Thank you for being the man us kids looked up to...someone who was never afraid to work! You always, always were busy doing something whether in the barn with the cattle, out in the field, in the garden tending veggies (or weeds) or in the kitchen making and baking or canning and freezing, you were one hard working father and I am so grateful for everything I learned from you and mom. Your home made goodies were awesome- never did anyone go away hungry! Oh the ice cream in the summer, fresh baked donuts or the candy and cookies at Christmas!! I'll treasure the memories forever! And Dorothy, you were the best caretaker we could have asked for! Keep on baking fresh bread and donuts and cookies and candy, we'll be there!! Love you both xo

Since I never got my "buddy seat" in the combine with Don, I get to jump in the driver seat
