Charles “Chuck” Edward Lee, 58, of Oshkosh, died Sunday, February 5, 2023, at UW Hospital in Madison. He was born on February 3, 1965, to the late Francis “Hanky” and Janice Lee, being raised on the Lee family farm on Lee Road in Poygan. He was a 1983 graduate of Winneconne High School.  Chuck had worked for Don Jungwirth, Hesser Olds, and Oshkosh Corp, and part-time doing roofing. He enjoyed most anything sports related; including playing softball with many different teams as their ace infielder, golfing, shooting darts, as well as watching the Badgers, Packers, and NASCAR. Along with his son, Dalton, they had a collection of aliens, predators, and Godzilla figures.

Chuck is survived by his special friend, Tina Wanner; son, Dalton; his siblings, Barbara (Thomas) Laabs, Christine (Gary) Brill, Laurie Lee, Gary (Stacy) Lee, Rick (Roxanne) Lee, Tammy (Malcolm) Davis, Terri (Tim) Brauer, Kathleen Lee, and Jennifer Lee; and many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends.

Along with his parents, Chuck was also preceded in death by a brother, Danny Lee; nephew, Jordan; and great-nephews, Declan and Rhylee.

A visitation for family and friends will be on Friday, February 10, 2023, from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. at Mueller Funeral Home 904 E. Main St. Winneconne, where a prayer service will be held at 7:00 p.m. Visitation will continue on Saturday, February 11 from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. at St. Mary Catholic Church 210 Pleasant Dr. Winneconne. A funeral Mass will be held on Saturday at 11:00 a.m. at the church with Fr. Tom Long officiating. Inurnment will be in St. Thomas Cemetery, Poygan. Following the Mass on Saturday, there will be a celebration of life at the Mineshaft 2041 S. Koeller St. Oshkosh.

My condolences to the the Lee family. Chuck was an awesome guy. I have a few memories of him stopping in with my brother, Keith. One such day was as I was cutting Knox Blox and he was so impressed that jello could be made that way ~ he ate 1/2 the pan! Gone too soon.

Sorry for your loss, I have alot of fine memories from playing in the hay mow to all the softball games on the field with grandpa Lee's trailer as the scoreboard, an then when we got a poygan team together with 13 members an 9 of them were Lees . Chucky will surely be missed, sincerely Bill Beck
