Marilyn A. Teschendorf, age 93, of Winneconne, took her last breath, Wednesday November 29, 2017. Her final week was spent surrounded by her adoring family at the Omro Care Center, where she was loved and cared for with stellar professionalism.
Marilyn was born in West Allis on October 17, 1924, to the late Francis and Viola (Kohler) Mueller. She loved to dance, listen to music, and get lost in old movies. She kept her mind sharp knitting and doing crossword puzzles.
Marilyn is survived by the true loves of her life; her children, Kenneth (Judy) Smith, of Wausau; Carolyn (Dale) Bernard, of Mobile, Alabama; Joanne (Greg) Tobin, of Muskego; Susan (John) Boldt, of Neenah; Deanna (David) Buech, of Winneconne; Jeffrey (Sharon) Smith, of Palm Harbor, Florida; ten grandchildren; fourteen great-grandchildren; nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
Along with her parents, Marilyn was also preceded in death by her husband, Kenneth Smith; a sister, Evelyn Klemz; and a stepdaughter and step-son-in-law, Diane and Otto Wenz.
A visitation for family and friends will be on Sunday, December 17, 2017, from 1:00 to 2:00 p.m. at Mueller Funeral Home, 904 E. Main St. Winneconne. A service will be held on Sunday at 2:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
