Warren A. Eckstein, age 94, of Larsen, passed away on Friday, May, 19, 2023, at St. Mary’s Hospital in Green Bay. He was born on June 20, 1928, in Allenville, the son of Albert J. and Minnie (Nelson) Eckstein. Warren was married to Roberta Blank and she preceded him in death in 1999. He then married Barbara Luedtke in 2000.

Warren was a 1946 graduate of Winneconne High School, and also the Oshkosh Business College. He was a veteran of World War II, serving in the U.S. Navy. Warren was honored to be on the Old Glory Honor Flight to Washington D.C. to see the memorials.

For 34 years he was a volunteer group leader at the Boys & Girls Brigade in Neenah, which he enjoyed very much. Warren retired from Equitable Reserve Association in Neenah. He was a member of St. Paul’s Ev. Lutheran Church in Winneconne.

Warren is survived by his wife, Barbara Eckstein; his sons, Terry (Susan) Eckstein, of Menasha; Jeffrey (Jan) Eckstein, of Havana, Florida; a brother, Lawrence Eckstein, of Allenville; and nieces and nephews. He is also survived by step-children, John Luedtke, Dean (Mary Ann) Luedtke, Gina (Jeff) Crispell; a step-son-in-law, Richard Zieman; step-grandchildren, and step-great-grandchildren.

Preceding Warren in death were his parents; his first wife, Roberta Eckstein; sisters, Virginia Mathison, Nina Immel; a brother, Kenneth Eckstein; and a step-daughter, Nancy Zieman.

A visitation for family and friends will be on Thursday, May 25, 2023, from 9:00 to 10:45 a.m. at St. Paul’s Ev. Lutheran Church 8 S. 4th St. Winneconne. A funeral service will be held on Thursday at 11:00 a.m. at the church with Pastor Mark Albrecht officiating. Military honors to follow. Burial will be in Resthaven Cemetery, Menasha.
