Patricia "Pat" Ann (Fredrickson) Neau, age 69, of Omro, died Wednesday, December 6, 2017, at Aurora St. Luke's Medical Center in Milwaukee. She was born February 4, 1948, in Ironwood, Michigan to the late Conrad and Eleanor (Kasieta) Fredrickson. On March 18, 1966, Pat married Clifton D. Neau and they made their home in Kenosha until 1990, at which time they moved to Omro. Pat's work career included working at K-Mart, Candle Corp., working in the restaurant business, including owning and operating Cliff's Café in Omro. On January 1, 2017, she retired from her job with the State of Wisconsin. Pat also did taxes for her friends and family. She was a hard worker and did things for everyone. Pat enjoyed playing bingo, watching NASCAR, the Packers, Badgers, and tennis, and she was a huge Elvis Presley fan. She was a member of St. Mary Catholic Church, Omro, and the Legion Auxiliary.
Pat is survived by her four children, Robert (Julie) Neau, of Oshkosh; Gary (Jeanette) Neau, of Omro; William (Betty) Neau, of Omro; Margie Eckstein, aka Margaret Ann when in trouble, of Omro; two grandchildren, Lindsey Neau, of Oshkosh; Jacob Spencer, of Green Lake; two sisters, Constance Raygo, of Omro; Nancy (John) McKinzie, of Cashmere, Washington; a sister-in-law, Marcia Neau; a nephew who was like a son to her, James (Anne) Landreth; many nieces and nephews who she thought of dearly; other relatives, friends; her dog, CJ; and many furry grandkids.
Along with her parents, Pat was also preceded in death by her husband, Clifton Neau; a sister, Geraldine Elliott; and her father-in-law and mother-in-law, Noel and Mabel Neau.
A visitation for family and friends will be on Monday, December 11, 2017, from 10:00 a.m. until Noon at St. Mary Catholic Church 730 Madison Ave. Omro. A funeral Mass will be held on Monday at Noon at the church with Fr. Bill Hower and Sr. Pam Biehl officiating. Burial will follow in the Winneconne Cemetery.
