Mick Dietz, 64, unexpectedly passed away at his home on November 19, 2023, in Winneconne. Born on September 17, 1959, Mick, also known as Michael John Dietz, leaves behind a loving family and cherished memories.

Mick served in the United States Navy, and was proud of his military associations. His dedication to the service was commendable and deeply appreciated.

Outside of his military service, Mick enjoyed spending time outdoors engaging in yard work and gardening. In his younger years, he loved to hunt and fish, even taking hunting trips to South Dakota with his late father and brother. He had a love for cars, including a Ford Mustang he previously owned. He enjoyed fixing things, and always had a project in mind to complete. These hobbies brought him peace and fulfillment. Aside from that, you would always find a sports game on the TV. He sure loved the Packers, Badgers, Brewers, and Bucks; and rarely missed a game.

Mick is survived by his daughters, Danna Dietz, of Menasha, and Kristen Dietz, of Kaukauna; his granddaughter, McKenna Buxton; former spouse, Joanne Dietz; cousins, Mary Anne Buksyk, of Milwaukee; John Brooks, of Milwaukee; Chris and Paul Stinski, Appleton; and other family members.

He was preceded in death by his father, Richard Dietz; his brother, Steve Dietz; his mother, Marlene Dietz; and an aunt, Sr. Suzanne Dietz.
