Where Caring Is A Family Tradition
On Tuesday, February 13, 2024, Gregory Lee Walther was called back from this world to return to our Lord above.
Born on March 16, 1972, Greg grew up in Omro where he graduated from Omro High School in 1990. He then went on to graduate from the University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh. Greg moved to Neenah and worked for over 15 years at the Winnebago Mental Health Institute before loyally working at Tundraland for 7 years.
A devoted and loving father of two, Greg enjoyed taking his sons to State Parks as well as scenic locations for waterfalls and lighthouses (where he would engage in his fondness for photography). A sports enthusiast, he enjoyed taking his sons and father to Milwaukee Brewers and Timber Rattler baseball games. Greg took an active roll with his boy’s athletics, helping to coach both through Little League, then continued to actively cheer them on in their sporting endeavors.
Greg is survived by his sons, Cade (21) and Brett (14); his father and mother, Robert and Susan; brother and sister-in-law, Jason and Ewa and their son Reece; and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
A visitation for family and friends will be on Friday, February 23, 2024, from 9:00 to 11:00 a.m. at Mueller Funeral Home 904 E. Main St. Winneconne. A funeral service will be held on Friday at 11:00 a.m. at the funeral home with Rev. Dr. Travis Shafer officiating.
Donations is Greg’s name will be given to the various youth sports his sons participated in.
If you wish, please submit online condolences/memories to muellerfh.net.
