I knew Buzzy since I was 6 years old. Hung out with her younger brother Bob and graduated in 1955 with him They were the first family to move into the house that was the Winnebago County Orphanage. I only lived two fork handles and a hay stack from them and can still remember crawling under a barbed wire fence and walking through the alfalfa field to see them. Bob and I stayed in touch with each other until his demise a few years ago. Good people, good family. Bob and I worked at the Zimmerman mink ranch during the summer when in high school. Many years later when I came back to Winneconne to vist we would get together with Buzzy and husband Ray and played cards. She had a full life and will be missed.
