Anthony Palazzo, 85, of Poygan, died Sunday, March 17, 2024, at home. He was born February 7, 1939, in Chicago to the late Anthony and Elizabeth (LaVechia) Palazzo. Tony served his country in the U.S. Army. On May 9, 1964, he married Martha Houston. Tony worked as an elevator mechanic for 40 years in Local 2 of the IUEC, retiring in 1996. After his retirement, he worked as a school bus driver and a bridge operator in Oshkosh for many years. He enjoyed fishing, making spaghetti and ravioli, eating dinners with his family, and collecting and working on tractors. Tony was a member of the American Legion Post 364-Winneconne and the Winneconne Masonic Lodge 186.
Tony is survived by his wife of almost 60 years, Martha Palazzo; four children, John (Korene) Palazzo, Julie (Russ) Bloom, Donna (Thomas) Doherty, Kimberly (Richard) Klingaman; twelve grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; a brother, Joseph (Maryann) Palazzo; a sister, Joan (Joseph) Turos; and other relatives and friends.
Along with his parents, Tony was also preceded in death by a daughter, Beth Palazzo.
A private graveside service, military honors, and interment will be held at a later date at the Winneconne Cemetery.
Tony will always be loved and missed.

Sadly I never met Mr Palazzo, I only knew him through his Son John. John always talked about him, the funny stories and how much he Loved his family. My prayers and condolences to the Palazzo Family Best Wishes
