Scott David Enter was born June 11, 1974, in La Crosse, Wisconsin to David and Christine Enter. He was made a child of God through faith in Jesus as his Savior in his baptism on June 30, 1974, at Mount Calvary Lutheran Church in La Crosse. He grew in his faith, attending Lutheran elementary schools and high school, graduating from Winnebago Lutheran Academy in Fond du Lac, Wisconsin. Scott was a member at Living Water Lutheran Church in Oshkosh where he regularly heard God's Word on Sunday mornings at worship and took part in the sacrament of Holy Communion. God called him home to heaven while he was at work on March 22, 2024, at the age of 49.

Scott is survived by his parents; brothers, Adam (Crystal) Enter of Fairfield, Iowa; and Jordan Enter of Oshkosh, Wisconsin; sisters, Ruth Jones of Indiana; and Naomi (Christopher) Hathaway of Milwaukee, Wisconsin; nephews, John Hathaway and Jackson Enter; and niece, Laura Hathaway. He is further survived by many cousins and many aunts and uncles.

Scott worked at numerous jobs through the years, including 13 years in child care. He was skilled at caring for his nephews and niece, and spending time with them brought him great joy. Most recently he was working for AMW Transport, delivering large Amazon packages throughout northeastern Wisconsin, receiving many awards for his work done well.

Scott had a great interest in artwork, especially making large drawings and paintings from photos. He enjoyed playing board games, watching movies, and sharing music with his siblings as he had a very close and loving relationship with them. His gentle spirit was appreciated by all.

There will be a funeral service of thanks and praise giving glory to God for His redeeming love in dying on the cross that first Good Friday. Jesus took away Scott's sins satisfying our heavenly Father's judgment. Scott now lives eternally in heaven. The funeral is Monday, April 1, 2024, at 12:00 noon at Living Water Lutheran Church, 1585 South Oakwood Road, Oshkosh, Wisconsin. Visitation begins at 10:00 a.m. Burial will be immediately after the service with lunch to follow back at church.
