Dayna Lynn Williamson was born in Maine on February 9, 1951. She passed away peacefully at home on Sunday, May 12, 2024, surrounded by her loving husband, Randy Williamson, her son, Johnathan, his wife, Nichole Warner, along with her two youngest grandchildren, Felicity and Cabela Warner, who were with her in her final few weeks at home.

Dayna moved to Naugatuck, Connecticut in 1954 and graduated from Naugatuck High School in 1969. She attended Merrylands High School in Australia as a foreign exchange student.

In April of 2003 Dayna married Randy Williamson in Meriden, Connecticut, later moving to Larsen, Wisconsin. Together they shared a passion for trains and Scottish Terriers. They rescued 15 Scottish Terriers, giving them a spoiled loving forever home. Dayna was affiliated with the St. Louis Scottish Terrier Rescue. She retired from Joanne Fabrics in 2016. Dayna was an active member of Grace Lutheran Church community, sitting on several committees throughout the years. She was involved in their sewing circle and loved quilting and crafting.

Dayna is survived by her husband, Randy Williamson; children, Shannone Kerber, Angela Murphy, Rita Warner Garcia, Heather LaBraucque, and Johnathan Warner, whom she raised in Waterbury, Connecticut. She has also survived by her sisters, Lynette Wheeler, Ravyna Missel, Susan Shepardson; her brothers, Eliab Shepardson and Darell Shepardson. Dayna was blessed with twelve grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

A visitation for family and friends will be on Saturday, May 18, 2024, from 9:30 to 11:00 a.m. at Grace Lutheran Church of Winchester 8396 Steeple Hill Drive, Larsen. A funeral service will be held on Saturday at 11:00 a.m. at the church with Pastor Mark Laatsch officiating. Interment will follow in the Grace Lutheran Cemetery.
