Where Caring Is A Family Tradition
April Becker, age 63, lost her battle with lung cancer and passed away at home on Saturday, May 4, 2024. She was born in Chicago, Illinois but eventually took the chance to move north and found a place to settle in Winneconne, Wisconsin. Caring for her fixer-upper home was a source of pride over the years, making the house and yard her own. She and her husband Mike Becker enjoyed their life in Winneconne, spending time with neighbors, family and their dog Lily.
April was preceded in death by her husband of 18 years, Mike Becker.
She is survived by her three children and their spouses, Dale Hicks (Rae Rydberg), Ashley (Craig) Heffernon, Abby (Aaron) Haase; and by her seven grandchildren, Noel, Mason, Sharlette, Olivia, Prudence, Madalynn, and Cora.
A visitation will be held at Mueller Funeral Home 904 E. Main St. Winneconne on Sunday, May 26, 2024, from 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. There will be no funeral service. Following the visitation, there will be a remembrance gathering for family and friends at the Becker residence at 2:00 p.m.
If you wish, please submit online condolences to muellerfh.net.

My heart goes out to all of April's family and friends. I have such fond memories of growing up in the old Countryside neighborhood and enjoying our friendship. Rest in peace ?? April.

I'm so saddened. I kept texting and left a voicemail but no return. I finally googled and found her obit. My heart goes out to family and friends . I have and will continue to miss her. A beautiful blonde butterfly arrived at my house on May 25 it was a swallowtail but blonde with a little blue at the tail. My sincere sympathy hugs and prayers.
Love
Rochelle

Dear Dale, Ashley, Abby and extended family,
I am so sorry for your loss. Though Aunt April is released from pain and sickness, I know the grief and sadness of her passing are still very real, heavy burdens to bear. I am praying for you all.
Memory eternal.
