Roy W. Neuman, 62, of Winneconne, died Saturday, May 18, 2024, at Ascension Mercy Hospital in Oshkosh. He was born January 19, 1962, to the late Matthew Jr. and Ethel (Brantmier) Neuman. Roy was a 1980 graduate of Winneconne High School. On August 29, 1981, he married Beverly Pavlak. For 5 years he worked in maintenance at Bethel Home in Oshkosh before going on to work for at Neenah Paper for 34 years until his retirement. He enjoyed spending time in the outdoors, tinkering with small engines, playing sheepshead at Tilly’s, and spending time with his grandchildren when he could.

Roy is survived by his wife of 42 years, Beverly Neuman, of Winneconne; three sons, Travis (Joanna) Neuman, of Omro; Christopher Neuman, of Winneconne; Nicholas (Angela) Neuman, of Oshkosh; grandchildren, Clara, Lakelli, Jackson, Adesa, and Natalie; his siblings, Theresa Flanigan, of Green Bay; John Neuman, of Winneconne; Paul (Vicki) Neuman, of Wisconsin; Paula (Dan) Smith, of Texas; Jason Neuman, of Texas; his mother-in-law, Dorothy (Steve) Tyson, of Oshkosh; in-laws, David Pavlak, of Oshkosh; Alan Pavlak, of Oshkosh; Missy Pavlak, of Butte des Morts; and nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.

Along with his parents, Roy was also preceded in death by a son, Craig Neuman; his father-in-law, Gordon Pavlak; a sister, Ruth Cadena; in-laws, Jim Flanigan, Karen Neuman, and Wayne Pavlak.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Sunday, June 9, 2024, from 12 noon to 4:00 p.m. at the Butte des Morts Lions Club, Washington Street in Butte des Morts. Interment will be at a later date in the Winneconne Cemetery.
