Robert “Bob” A. Beiser, 94, of Winneconne, died Tuesday, July 9, 2024, at ThedaCare Regional Medical Center in Neenah, with family by his side. Bob died as a result of complications following an accident doing what he loved to do, out checking the crops in the fields, on the farm where he lived and farmed all of his life.

He was born October 14, 1929, in Oshkosh to the late Harold and Flora (Bartelt) Beiser. Bob was a 1947 graduate of Winneconne High School. On September 1, 1951, he married Carol Pinnow at St. Paul’s Ev. Lutheran Church in Winneconne. Bob and Carol enjoyed traveling, including an annual trip to Mexico for over 30 years. He never missed a year deer hunting on the family farm, was always watching the Brewers, Badgers, Bucks, or his beloved Packers. Bob had also been a Packer season ticket holder for many years and enjoyed attending with his wife, Carol, no matter the weather. In 1965 Bob was named the Winnebago County Outstanding Young Farmer, and for over 25 years he served as an F & M Bank director. He was a member of St. Paul’s Ev. Lutheran Church in Winneconne.

Bob is survived by his wife of 72 years, Carol Beiser; a son, Tom (Beth) Beiser; a daughter, Barb Beiser (DuWayne Perry); grandchildren, Colleen (Ralph) Klokow, Andy Beiser; a great-granddaughter, Ashlee Hopperdietzel; and nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Along with his parents, Bob was also preceded in death by a sister and brother-in-law, Jean Ann and “Blackie” Marvin; along with a granddaughter, Jillian Beiser.

A visitation for family and friends will be on Monday, July 15, 2024, from 9:00 to 11:00 a.m. at St. Paul’s Ev. Lutheran Church 8 S. 4th St. Winneconne. A funeral service will be held on Monday at 11:00 a.m. at the church with Pastor Ben Berger officiating. Burial will be in Lake View Memorial Park, Oshkosh.

In lieu of flowers, memorials in Bob’s name may be made to St. Paul’s Ev. Lutheran Church, Winneconne.

We truly will miss talking to Bob about the farmland, the wildlife, the birds, and, of course, the Packers. We will always appreciate how Bob took such good care of the farmland. Our thoughts and prayers go out to Carol and family.
