Where Caring Is A Family Tradition
Betty Ann Kandler, 87, died Sunday, July 14, 2024, at Aurora Medical Center in Oshkosh. She was born December 12, 1936, in the Town of Schleswig to the late William and Irma (Lueloff) Dedering. On September 11, 1954, she married Ernest Ray Kandler at St. Peter Reformed Church in Kiel, Wisconsin. For the past 60 years Betty called the Oshkosh area home. She was a member of St. Paul’s Ev. Lutheran Church in Winneconne. Ernie preceded her in death in May of 2010.
Survivors include her three children and their families: daughter, Karen Overton and her children, Jennier (Joe) Berg and children Justin, Jordan, and Jessica; Rebecca (Marvin) Mills and son Wyatt; Matthew (Tana) Overton and son Hezekiah; daughter, Renata (Bob) Bacon and their son Robert (Ruth) Bacon; son, Ken (Laurie) Kandler and their children, Nikolaus (Britney) Kandler, Merecedes (Cody) Minnema and son Croix. Betty is also survived by nephews, Daniel Pederson, James Pederson, Robert (Susan) Pederson and daughters Taylor (Tyler Stipe), Kristin.
A visitation for family and friends will be on Monday, July 22, 2024, from 9:00 to 11:00 a.m. at St. Paul’s Ev. Lutheran Church 8 S. 4th St. Winneconne. A funeral service will be held on Monday at 11:00 a.m. at the church with Pastor Ben Berger officiating. Inurnment will be at a later date in the New Holstein Cemetery.
