Carole Ann (Seelow) Babcock, 80, of Omro, died Monday, August 26, 2024, at Ascension Mercy Hospital in Oshkosh. She was born to the late Louis and Sylvia (Hertzberg) Seelow on March 10, 1944.

Carole was a 1962 graduate of Omro High School. As a single mother, she worked full-time and attended Moraine Park Technical College in Fond du Lac, earning an LPN degree. Carole’s nursing career of 36 years included working at Bethel Home, Omro Care Center, McDonald Clinic, but most of her career was at Park View Health Center. She was a member of Grace Lutheran Church in Omro.

Carole is survived by two sons, Dale Babcock and Terry Babcock; a grandson, Cody Babcock; two sisters, Joanne (Rex) Beulen, Sharon (Bill) Wismer; a brother, Larry (Josel) Seelow; and other relatives and friends.

Her family would like to extend their thanks to the wonderful staffs of Country Villa in Omro and Moments Hospice for the care provided to Carole. Also, special thanks to the home care givers who made her feel safe and well cared for; these wonderful ladies are Marlene, Shirley, Barb, and Kathy.

A visitation for family and friends will be on Friday, September 6, 2024, from 9:30 to 11:00 a.m. at Grace Lutheran Church 720 Jackson Ave. Omro. A funeral service will be held on Friday, September 6 at 11:00 a.m. at the church with Pastor Mark Wenzel officiating. Burial will be in the Omro Cemetery.
