Thomas E. Keller, son of Jack and Ethel Keller, has died at 71. He was born on July 16, 1953.
Tom was taken by ambulance, from Tomah, WI, on Monday, October 21, 2024, to the Madison, WI VA Hospital. It was discovered he had cancer throughout his system. He was placed in hospice on Friday, October 25 and died at 1:20 a.m. on Monday, October 28, 2024.
Tom graduated from Neenah High School, worked a stint at J. J. Keller, attended UW-Oshkosh studying Biology and was honorably discharged from the U.S. Army.
Preceding Tom in death were his parents.
He is survived by: two brothers, Robert (Lynne) Keller, James (Rosanne) Keller; nieces and nephews: Marne (Alec Krivaka) Keller-Krivaka, Rustin (Christina) Keller, Rachael (Philip Graebel) Keller-Graebel, Adam (Teri) Keller, Brian (Meghan) Keller, Angela (Keller) Gillitzer; and great-nieces and great-nephews.
Tom’s family extends special thanks to his Tomah, WI group home owner Shelly Trowbridge and his long-term caregiver Lynn Fox; and also, to the Madison, WI VA hospital staff who took exceptional care of Tom during his week of failing health.
Tom will be laid to rest, next to his parents, at the Appleton Highland Memorial Park, after a private service and military honors.
