Maureen was born on July 30, 1960, the only daughter of Ken Sr. and Isabelle (Evers) Kopiske. She was a 1978 graduate of Appleton West High School and she began her work career in the paper industry at Gilbert Paper in the same year. From there Maureen worked at Fox River Paper and retired in 2023 from Neenah Paper. On May May 25, 1985, she married Don Reinert.

Preceding Maureen in death were her father, Ken Kopiske Sr.; and her husband, Donnie on August 8, 2024.

Maureen is survived by: her mother, Isabelle Kopiske; her brothers, Tim (Shirley) Kopiske, Tom (Linda) Kopiske, Mike (Tina) Kopiske, Ken Kopiske (Lynn O’Shasky). She is further survived by: Don’s children, Kelly (Mark) Billman, James (Jill) Reinert; as well as many cherished nieces and nephews.

Maureen enjoyed spending time with friends and family and particularly enjoyed the annual Kopiske Flag Day celebration. No gathering was complete without Maureen’s desserts. She was the crock pot and casserole queen, always happy to share a dish or recipe. She was also a devoted caregiver, often putting other’s needs before her own.

Over the years, Maureen and Donnie made many treasured memories with friends Glenn and Karen, the family is grateful for their caring and assistance. Also, a special thanks to Shari Tarala for her love and support.

Per Reenie’s request, no funeral will be held. A joint celebration of life for Maureen and Don will be scheduled after the new year.

No summer was complete without a trip to Nana and Pupas with cookouts, fishing, and camping in the backyard. Reenie and Don were my biggest supporters, always there cheering me on from my first fish to my first deer to graduating high school and Cosmotology school. I'll forever miss our 2 hour phone calls catching up every week and the time I got to spend with her when I came back for vacations. I love you Nana and I miss you terribly. Fly high angel and give Pupa a big hug for me!
