Jeffrey Vernon Gehrke passed away, Thursday, December 19, 2024, at his home in Oshkosh at the age of 70. He was born June 25, 1954, to Catherine (Nussbaumer) and Vernon Gehrke.
Jeff was a 1972 graduate of Oshkosh West High School. From there he attended Fox Valley Tech and through there and apprenticeships he became an E & I Technician at SCA Tissue (later named Essity) for over 30 years.
On September 20, 1980, he married Pamela Coats and they resided in Oshkosh and raised three children, Andrew, Mathew, and Laura.
Jeffrey was a fan of the Green Bay Packers and the Wisconsin Badgers. He enjoyed listening to music and watching old westerns.
Jeffrey is survived by: his wife of 44 years, Pamela; children, Andrew, Mathew, Laura; brothers, Michael (Marjorie) and James; sister, Wanda (Gary) Schowoch; in-laws, Shirley (Richard) Kubalek, David Coats, Carole Coats; and many nieces, nephews and cousins.
Preceding Jeffrey in death were his parents, Catherine and Vernon; mother-in-law and father-in-law, Eva and Elwin Sr. Coats; sister-in-law, Sharon Berry; and brother-in-law, Elwin Coats Jr.
A visitation for family and friends will be on Monday, December 30, 2024, from 10:00 a.m. until 12:00 noon at Mueller Funeral Home 904 E. Main St. Winneconne. A funeral service will be held on Monday, December 30 at 12:00 noon at the funeral home. Burial will follow in the Rushford Cemetery.

We are so sorry to find out about Jeff I worked with Jeff at Akrosi lCorporation for 12 years and then S.C.A. for 30. Jeff was more than a co worker, he was my friend. we shared many adventures at work and made working together fun. rest in peace my friend.
