Ricky L. Weidner, 68, Oshkosh, passed away Wednesday, January 15, 2025, with is family by his side. He was born May 13, 1956, to Lawrence and Thelma (Nowak) Weidner.

From 1982-1984 Ricky served with the National Guard.

Throughout his life he worked at various jobs. Ricky enjoyed fishing and many outdoor activities, going to the dog park, playing lottery tickets, and more recently doing diamond dots pictures. He was always doing good for others; driving them to doctor’s appointments, getting groceries, etc.

Ricky is survived by his children, Timothy and Wendy; sisters, June (Dean) Larsen, Karen Stephens, Sally Weidner; and other relatives and friends.

Preceding Ricky in death were his parents, Lawrence and Thelma Weidner; brother, Roger; sister, Bonnie; as well as several other extended family members.

Per Ricky’s wishes there will be no visitation, funeral, ceremonies, or celebrations.

In honor of Ricky any donations in his memory can be sent to the Oshkosh Humane Society.

Ricky’s family wishes to thank the staffs of Compassus Hospice and Meadowbrook-Appleton for their care of him.
