Where Caring Is A Family Tradition
Born August 12, 1949, Thomas R. Wagner is now in the hands of his Savior. Tom passed away on Saturday, February 15, 2025, after a short, tough battle with cancer.
Tom was #2 of 9 children born to parents Russell and Geraldine (Hazen) Wagner.
After attending Omro schools, Tom served in the U.S. Army in Vietnam. Recently he was privileged to do an Old Glory Honor Flight and was a member of American Legion Post 437-Oshkosh and Post 234-Omro.
In his younger days, Tom enjoyed duck hunting and trips to the family cabin. Later he liked driving truck, riding his Harley, taking long drives, going to county fairs, hanging out at Jackie’s and attending Bible studies.
Tom will be deeply missed by his surviving siblings and their spouses: Sharron (Robert) Ellis, Robert “Green” (Julie) Wagner, Sally Wagner, Nancy Deschaine, Doug (Mary Ann) Wagner, Den (Gloria) Wagner, and Sandy (Rick) Jarzynka. Tom is also survived by an aunt, Pat Wagner; many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Preceding Tom in death in addition to his parents, grandma, Viola “GG” Wagner; siblings, Jim Wagner and Barb Wagner; nephew, Cory Wagner; and brother-in-law, John Deschaine.
The family would like to thank Compassus Hospice, especially Jessica and Canoe; Pastor Mark Wenzel and the staff at Ascension Mercy ICU, for their support in Tom’s final days.
