Where Caring Is A Family Tradition
Pamela Kay Albashian went to be with her Lord & Savior, and with her parents again, on Sunday, March 9, 2025. She was born on February 6, 1953, to Shirley and Bruce Gunther. Pam fought a hard battle with Non-Hodgkin’s Lymphoma and passed away at St. Elizabeth Hospital in Appleton, WI.
On August 2, 1975, Pam was united in marriage to Mike Albashian, her childhood sweetheart; they would have celebrated 50 years of marriage this coming August. Pam loved to fish, golf, walk, ride bike, country line dance and work in her yard and home. She also loved to play cards with her country friends. For 38 years Pam was employed by the Omro School System working as an assistant cook. She loved her job, the kids and the staff. She fed thousands of kids and gave hundreds of kids the only hug they would get.
Pam is survived by her loving husband, Mike; her two loving sons, Ryan, of Wichita, KS; and Aaron, of Omro; and a sister and brother-in-law, Cheryl and Det Sommerfeld, of Appleton. She is also survived by her two best friends, Cathy and Judy.
Preceding Pam in death were her parents, and a cousin, Stephanie Noll.
A visitation for family and friends will be on Friday, March 14, 2025, from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Grace Lutheran Church 720 Jackson Ave. Omro. Visitation will continue on Saturday, March 15 from 9:00 to 11:00 a.m. at the church. A funeral service will be held on Saturday at 11:00 a.m. at the church with Pastor Mark Wenzel and Pastor Richard Bartholomew officiating. Inurnment will be at a later date in the Omro Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, a memorial will be established.
We would like to extend a special thank you to nurses Mary at Ascension Mercy Hospital and Izzy at St. Elizabeth Hospital for their kind and compassionate care of our sweetheart.
If Pam is not one of God’s angels here on Earth, then he doesn’t have any. Her love, compassion, generosity, and sweet personality will be deeply missed by so many.
Mueller Funeral Home-Winneconne is assisting the family. If you wish, please submit online condolences/memories to muellerfh.net.

Dear Aaron,
When we lose someone special, there is an “awakening “ that that they are actually part of our lives forever. Kevin has informed me of your mother’s passing, and I am so sorry today just knowing all that you are going through now- memories popping up that you probably thought were gone…happy times, sad times…shared times, traditions and all the rest.
She is physically gone but in time you’ll notice that she is still right here. It sounds like she “ imprinted” on many others! I’m sorry that I did not have a chance to meet her. She certainly shared many of her outstanding personal qualities with you, and so, her influences continue to live!

Mike and family - I’m sorry to hear about Pam’s passing. As a student in the Omro School District, my interactions with Pam were the highlights of many of my days. Quick to greet students with a smile and so full of joy and compassion, she was a bright light that will continue to shine through the lives she touched. “If Pam is not one of God’s angels here on Earth, then he doesn’t have any.” I couldn’t agree more. Sending prayers and condolences your way.
