Edward J. Huebner, age 78, of Oshkosh, died on Thursday, June 12, 2025, at Aurora Medical Center in Oshkosh. He was born on September 25, 1946, in Neenah, Wisconsin, the son of the late Edward and Ruth (Manteufel) Huebner. Following high school, Edward served in the U.S. Air Force from 1966-1970 attaining the rank of sergeant. Following his service Edward became a cheesemaker and owned and operated Cloverleaf Cheese Factory in Neenah from 1970-2000. On July 13, 1996, Edward married Phyllis Winter in the Town of Clayton. Edward loved woodworking and was a member of the Wood Turners Club. He also enjoyed gardening.

Edward is survived by his wife of 28 years, Phyllis; children, Troy (fiancée, Denise Genette) Huebner, Eric (Brenda) Kowenstrot, Ann Kowenstrot, and Jason (fiancée, Madia Ison) Kowenstrot; grandchildren, Zachary (Ally) Seidl, Caitlin (fiancé Cameron Bonvini) Kowenstrot, Jesse Biddle, Max Keating, Kaya Biddle and Zoe Huebner; great-grandchildren, Genevieve, Alice, Henry, Charlie, Joseph and Michael; a brother, Bryon (Debbie) Huebner; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. 

He was preceded in death by his parents, and his in-laws, Gerald and Genevieve Winter.

A funeral service will be on Wednesday, June 18, 2025, at 11:00 a.m. at Good Shepherd Lutheran Church, 2450 W. 9th Ave., Oshkosh. Pastor Greg Koepsell will officiate. The burial will be in the Clayton Cemetery. Visitation will be held at the church on Wednesday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service.
