Ronald R. Hale, 67, of Winneconne died Friday, June 13, 2025, at home. He was born February 20, 1958, in Oshkosh to Glenn and Doraine (Opperman) Hale. Ron was a 1976 graduate of Winneconne High School, where he participated in wrestling. Ron’s work career included time at Square D and the Winnebago County Facilities Department, where he retired from. On December 28, 2015, he married Kelley Cahill Stieg. Ron was an outdoorsman, enjoying fishing, hunting, trapping, and driving his Argo XTV. He also enjoyed traveling and especially loved time spent with his grandsons.
Ron is survived by his wife, Kelley Hale; a son, James Hale; two stepsons and their families, Jason Stieg and his son, Jackson; Justin and Natalie Stieg and their son, Zane; his mother, Doraine Hale; a sister and brother-in-law, Jackie and Bob Ehmke; sister-in-law, Faye Hale; father-in-law, James Cahill; sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law, Patti Cahill, Kevin Cahill, Brian and Apryl Cahill, Mike and Jackie Cahill; nieces, nephews, other relatives and many special friends.
Preceding Ron in death was his father, Glenn Hale; a brother, Steve Hale; a niece, Nikki Schonscheck; mother-in-law, Beverly Cahill; and a nephew, Chris Cahill.
A visitation for family and friends will be on Saturday, June 28, 2025, from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. at Mueller Funeral Home 904 E. Main St. Winneconne. There will be no service held. Following the visitation a celebration of life will be held at The Hill Tavern 8069 Cty Rd D Omro.
