Mary Jane Kettlewell, 82, of Waukau, died Sunday, June 29, 2025, at Aurora Medical Center in Oshkosh. She was born April 3, 1943, to the late Walter and Gwendolin (Seefeldt) Robe. On April 27, 1985, Mary Jane married Wayne Kettlewell at Grace Lutheran Church in Omro, where she was a long-time member and served as a Sunday School teacher for many years. For 24 years she was employed at Speed Queen in Ripon, until her retirement. Mary Jane loved her dogs Sparky and Lacey, flower gardens, and spending time at the family cabin in Hurley.
Mary Jane had a love of family and is survived by: her husband of 40 years, Wayne Kettlewell; son, John (Cheryl) Stutz; stepsons, Tyler Kettlewell (Jodi Bula Holley), Brett (Becca) Kettlewell; grandchildren, Nick (Nicky) Kerzner, Jessica Stutz, Christian Kettlewell, Jordan Kettlewell, Judah (Lilly) Kettlewell, Payton (Johnny) Phelps, Payshence (Dominic) Klima, Aspen Kettlewell, Devon Seaman; great-grandchildren, Madyson Kerzner, Ayden Krause, Timmy, Nova, Cameron, and Teddy Phelps, Sam and Emmelyn Klima; brother, Dan (Nancy) Robe; her best friend, Rosemary Langenberg; and nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Along with her parents, Mary Jane was also preceded in death by a son and daughter-in-law, David and Tina Stutz; granddaughter, Paige Kettlewell; and a long-time friend, Marilyn Schmidt.
A visitation for family and friends will be on Tuesday, July 8, 2025, from 9:00 to 11:00 a.m. at Grace Lutheran Church 720 Jackson Ave. Omro. A funeral service will be held on Tuesday at 11:00 a.m. at the church with Pastor Mark Wenzel officiating. Burial will follow in the Waukau Cemetery.
