Gerald “Fuzzy” W. Asmus, age 79, passed away on Sunday September 14, 2025, at Park Vista the Legacy in Waupaca. He was born on August 15, 1946, in Neenah a son of Harold and Eula Boleyn Asmus.
He had worked at Wisconsin Tissue Mills for many years, and loved fishing, duck hunting, goose hunting, deer hunting, and camping. He enjoyed volunteering at the Food Pantry and helping with 206 Club in Menasha.
He is survived by his two daughters Kimberly(Joe) Vergin, Kaylin(significant other Daymon) Asmus, 3 grandchildren Oliver, Owen, Evan, one brother Robert(Lori) Asmus, one sister Kathie Meukow, several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, one brother Harold Asmus, one sister Marsha Friou, niece Michelle Meukow, brother-in-law Gerd Meukow, and his partner Peggy Kolinski.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday September 27, 2025 at Grace Lutheran Church(8396 Steeple Hill Dr. Larsen, WI 54947) at 11 a.m. Visitation will be held at the church from 9 a.m. until the time of the service. Burial will follow at the church cemetery.
