Where Caring Is A Family Tradition

Jerry was one of the kindest friendliest people I ever met in my life .some of my fondest memories are of sitting and talking and joking with him over a beer whether in a boat on lake winniconne or on barstool after the hunt . I am proud to say he was my friend.

When I was a young man, I was invited to "the shack" for a week of duck hunting. I didn't even have a shotgun to hunt with. Jerry let me borrow his 16 gauge (I'm sure the kids remember that gun) and so began a tradition of, oh 30 years of some of the best times of my life. There aren't enough words to describe what that meant to me, and I'm sure, all the other guys that were there. We are all forever grateful for the Geerdts' hospitality and generosity during those memorable times. Here's to Jerry!! Rest in peace, you've earned it.

Your father was a great man who touched many lives through his kindness and wisdom. Words cannot express the sorrow we feel for your loss. May you find peace, solace, love and support of those around you. He will truly stay in our hearts in our minds for a very, very long time. Love Aways
