Harold W. Wirch Sr. age 84, of Oshkosh died Thursday, August 16, 2018, at Bethel Home in Oshkosh. He was born January 22, 1934, in Bristol, Wisconsin to the late Frederick Sr. and Fern (Behrens) Wirch. Harold served his country in the U.S Air Force during the Korean War. On October 29, 1960, he married Marie Fisher at First English Lutheran Church in Oshkosh.
Harold is survived by his wife of 57 years, Marie Wirch, of Oshkosh; a son, Michael Wirch, of Omro; two grandsons, Keith (Amanda) Wirch, of Minneapolis, Minnesota; Scott (Natasha) Wirch, of Rolla, Missouri; two great-granddaughters, Makenzie and Alexandria; two brothers, Jim (Karen) Wirch, of Omro; Jack (Mary) Wirch, of Winneconne; and other relatives and friends.
Along with his parents, Harold was also preceded in death by two sons and a daughter, Harold Wirch Jr, Tina Wirch, and Lee Wirch; and a brother, Fred Wirch Jr.
A visitation for family and friends will be on Friday, August 24, 2018, from Noon to 1:00 p.m. at Mueller Funeral Home 904 E. Main St. Winneconne. A funeral service will be held on Friday at 1:00 p.m. at the funeral home with Pastor Dan McCurdy officiating. Burial with military honors will follow in Lake View Memorial Park, Oshkosh.
