Jane also loved playing cards with her card buddies, cooking, and trying new recipes. She was a member of St. Raphael Catholic Church in Oshkosh.
Jane is survived by her loving husband, Gary; son, Adam (Rebecca) Brantmier; daughter, Rachel (Pete) Laubmeier; mother, Dolores Wianecki; brother, Don Kochnowicz; sister, Susan (Rich) Bolte; and many friends.
She was preceded in death by her father, Edward Kochnowicz; and her step-father, Edward Wianecki.

To the family and friends of Jane: I was a NA at UWHC, where I had the joy of caring for Jane. She was a very strong and confident person. We shared many of our cancer stories, and I had so hoped she would be a survivor. My heart goes out to all of you. She was such a sweetie! Never wanting to wear our fashionable gowns, but always brought her silk pink pajamas. I will think of her often, and miss her courage. Take care and know one day you will see her again. Gary, Larry and I are so sorry for your loss, and so sorry we could not be at the service last night. For reasons known only to Him, God called Jane to her permanent home in Heaven, and it was much too soon for her family and friends. But all who love her know that she is now forever smiling and happy, and will never be in pain again. Larry and I are so happy that you and Jane were able to enjoy your time spent with the Bosom Buddies Support Group ... they are a very caring and loving group of people who have, over many years, helped so many cancer survivors and their families. And we know that they always hold dear to their hearts the memories of those in their group who lost their cancer battles. Larry and I will be making a donation to the Bosom Buddies Relay For Life team, which will then be donated to the American Cancer Society. May God bless you and keep your family wrapped securely in His arms during this very difficult time. Warmly, Larry & Trina Voss

Our thoughts and prayers are with you during this time of sadness. Love Suzanne & John Nothing Gold Can Stay by Robert Frost Nature's first green is gold, Her hardest hue to hold. Her early leaf's a flower; But only so an hour. Then leaf subsides to leaf, So Eden sank to grief, So dawn goes down to day Nothing gold can stay.
