Judith "Judy" Kamrath, age 77, of Omro died Wednesday, January 9, 2019, at home. She was born August 26, 1941, to the late Vernice "Mike" and Viola (Miller) Kempf. Judy graduated from UW-Oshkosh with a Bachelor's degree in Social Work, and she earned her Master's degree in Social Work from UW-Milwaukee. On February 22, 1969, Judy married Wesley Kamrath in Omro. For over 30 years Judy was employed by Winnebago County until her retirement. Judy had a love of animals and upon her retirement she worked at the Omro Animal Hospital. For many years she volunteered and served on the board of directors of the Omro Thrift Store. Judy was a lifetime member of Grace Lutheran Church, Omro.
Judy is survived by her three daughters and sons-in-law, Stephanie and Tom Wright, Jr., of Omro; Misty and Nick Stewart, of Omro; Andrea and Tony Schaefer, of Oshkosh; three granddaughters, Olivia Marie Stewart, Kennedy Corrine Stewart, Brittany Stewart, all of Omro; a great-granddaughter, Ryleigh Marie, of Omro; a sister-in-law, Barb Kempf; nieces and nephews, Ernst and Virginia Lisek, Gloria and Norbert Kroening, Karen and Paul Morton, Chari Kempf, Linda and Gene Rusch; great-nieces, great-nephews, other relatives, and friends.
Along with her parents, Judy was also preceded in death by her husband, Wesley, on October 24, 1990; brother, Jim Kempf, an infant brother, Jonathan Kempf; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Irvin and Edith Kamrath, Irma and Ernst Lisek, Marion and Jerome Mandel.
A visitation for family and friends will be on Friday, January 11, 2019, from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. at Mueller Funeral Home 904 E. Main St. Winneconne. Visitation will continue on Saturday, January 12 from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. at Grace Lutheran Church 720 Jackson Ave. Omro. A memorial service will be held on Saturday at 11:00 a.m. at the church with Pastor Richard Bartholomew officiating. Inurnment will be at a later date in the Omro Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, a memorial will be established.

We are so sorry for the loss of your mother. Our first date was actually going to Judy and Wes's wedding. Wyatt remembers riding a horse with her when he was young, a nice memory.

Judy will be missed at the thrift store. I work Thursday afternoons and would come into smiling faces and if I was lucky her wonderful hot beef She always helpful to teach me new things..
