Sharon L. Fahley, age 71, of Winneconne, died Tuesday, June 29, 2010, at Aurora Medical Center in Oshkosh. She was born August 27, 1938, in Oshkosh to the late Edwin and Ethel (McHugh) Elmer. On February 20, 1960, Sharon married Harold Fahley at St. Mary Catholic Church in Winneconne, where they are still currently members.
Sharon is survived by her husband of 50 years, Harold Fahley, of Winneconne; six children, Mark (Michelle) Fahley, of Topeka, Kansas; Maria Costello, of Oshkosh; Kenneth (Jennifer) Fahley, of Collins; Kathryn Fahley, of Oshkosh; Carol (Jim) Jacques, of Neenah; Linda Fahley, of Winneconne; eighteen grandchildren, Elizabeth (Charles) Redman, Sharon and Betty Costello, Christopher, Bradley, Courtney, Ethan, Amanda, Kristin, Kayla, Emily, and Rebecca Fahley, Amy and Kimberly Decker, Adam, Loree, and Eric Jacques, and Brandon Fahley; three great-grandchildren, Yasmine Decker, Jonathan and Hailey Redman; two sisters, Carol (Lester) Brennand, Mary Elmer; and nieces and nephews.
Along with her parents, Sharon was also preceded in death by a daughter, Amy; and one sister, Joyce Dexter.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, July 3, 2010, at 12:00 p.m. at St. Mary Catholic Church, 210 Pleasant Dr., Winneconne, with Fr. Jason Blahnik and Sharon Baker officiating. Burial will follow in the Winneconne Cemetery. A Visitation for family and friends will be on Saturday at the church from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the Mass.

My deepest sympathy goes out to you Linda. I know you have had a very trying and emotional few months taking care of her. She is not suffering anymore and she will be pain free and at Peace with God. Bless you and your family in this time of loss.
