Dear Friends and Family, Karl was a very special part of my high school years. He always seemed happy and was fun to be with. We dated quite a bit, and the junior prom was and is a very wonderful memory. He was a decent, understanding person. We loved to dance and those times as well as Karl will always be in my heart. I know he has had a fight on his hands with his illness, and I'm sure he is in God's hands now. Rest in Peace my Friend. Mary Ann (Domke) Bartelt

Please accept our sincere condolences as you both mourn the loss of our brother in Christ, and at the same time celebrate his eternal reward in heaven! Like Don, I fondly remember those good ole days at Winneconne. If Karl couldn't make you laugh, then you were hopeless! Our prayers for strength go out to the entire Brankse family. We know Karl will be up there, waiting for us!! Love, Lee and Lois Robbert

Dear Family and Friends, we are sorry for your loss. Karl was a lot older than me (one month)but we spent many hours together in classes back in Winchester and Winneconne. Karl always had something to say and we liked that. Our thoughts are with you all. Don & Ellie Lipske
